Many rockers back from the 1960's and those a decade from or to it will say and believe that "rock will never die". Most of them probably could not believe their eyes if they lived to see this day. They really would not believe their eyes if saw the United States Top Billboard today; there is not even one hard rock, altern-rock, or punk rock music song on there, or even any rock music on any popular billboard for that matter.
You would only find electronica, hip-hop, or RnB on lists with "today's popular music". These make great sourses for creating the feel good ringtone for your mobile. Most rock bands today are probably not popular enough for a rock lover to find; the only thing you can do is to stick with the old rockers. That would include bands like Metallica, Sum 41, and other old and/or disbanded bands.
